SCIENCE BATTLE OF BRAINS

One of our most interesting activity

Science Battle of Brains (SCIBOB) is a science education quiz tournament for young secondary school science students.

Face to face encounter on Zoom video conferencing application, with other members from all across Africa also joining from their homes to serve as audiences, while the host dishes out senior-level questions selected from different topics in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

A total of 40 questions are expected to be answered.

10 questions each for 4 rounds of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

Each question carries 5 marks and the contestant that gets the highest number of questions right with the highest number of points earned is declared winner.

Eligibility:

3 science secondary school students (2 Females 1 Male) age 18 and below to represent each state

Fair representative of SS1, SS2 and SS3 participants

Must be from and school in a state in Nigeria to represent that state

Have a valid school identity card and birth certificate

Each correct answers attracts 5 marks and each round win attracts 3 points. All overall winners qualify and the best losing teams with the highest total marks are considered based on the outcome, four losing team with the least marks are automatically eliminated from the group stage.
